With Alex Sandro's story at Juventus pointing towards its potential end, a transfer chase could be set to ensue over the prized 26-year-old left back. According to José Mourinho mouthpiece and apparent journalist Duncan Castles, Manchester United have set sights on the 26-year-old defender — with Chelsea and Manchester City also in on the hunt.
Castles claims United would have to make room in their squad to accommodate Sandro's wages, which means Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw might be on their way out — the latter whom was linked with Chelsea a few weeks ago just as he was a few years ago. And in case United fail to grab Sandro, their second target in line would be Tottenham's Danny Rose, who’s been assumed to be Manchester-bound for some time now.
If Sandro is indeed available, Chelsea would understandably not be the only team interested. That’s good news for Juventus, who are apparently still holding out for “crazy offers” (i.e. at least around the €70m they asked in the summer) as opposed to the slightly lower €50m rumored earlier this week.
Stay tuned!
