Branislav Ivanović landed in St. Petersburg around 1pm Greenwich Mean Time; that’s according to Russian Football News, who helpfully supplied a picture as well.

Yep, that looks like an airport. The airplane on the sign is a bit of a giveaway — earlier reports claimed that Ivanović was flying to Spain to get the deal done; either way, he’s at an airport with Zenit as the ultimate destination.
Official confirmation should be imminent, though as mentioned earlier, the transfer window is open in Russia for three more weeks, so there’s no rush.
As Ivanović was heading to St. Petersburg, Chelsea were heading north to Liverpool. Traveling with the squad was youngster Charly Musonda, who looks to be staying with the team after all, barring any last minute shenanigans.

Unlike Kenedy, Musonda did not make an apperance in Saturday’s FA Cup win over Brentford, leaving him available for a potential loan. Sounds like that will not be happening.

Scenic.
(There were no other notable absentees from the travelling squad, which includes Asmir Begović and Kenedy as well.)
