Here’s another gem from Madrid radio station COPE, who continue their unrelenting campaign to make Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid happen. Stop trying to make fetch happen, COPE!

The boy is just crazy for Real Madrid, if COPE are to be believed. Simply loco!
Which he may be of course, but as we’ve said over and over and over again every time these rumors come back around like clockwork, Courtois is contracted to Chelsea, he’s saying and doing the right things, even showing his passion, and so on. He will have two years left on his contract at the end of this season and rumors of a contract extension have already been floated — with Conte backing it with public comments like “Courtois can be Chelsea’s Buffon” — and with supposedly a positive initial response from Courtois’s camp.
COPE meanwhile claim that Courtois has already told his teammates that he’s leaving this summer.
The 24-year-old has never denied his love for Spain, which does explain why his wife and family apparently still live there. That’s not the most obvious setup for a long career at Chelsea, so one day, perhaps even soon, he might just return to the Spanish capital. You never do know for certain in football, after all.
