Two more Chelsea prospects head out on season-long loans, both to Bristol Rovers

Loan Reports are going to be lengthy this season.

Surpassing all our previous tallies of players out on loan (and with a few more still to be confirmed!), loanees number 34 and 35 have been announced by Chelsea this evening! Both have a certain element of surprise to them, considering there was little to no noise regarding their moves away from the club this summer.

Center back, Jake Clarke-Salter, 18, and central midfielder, Charlie Colkett, 19, have both signed on loan or Bristol Rovers in League One until the end of the season.

We're well familiar with Rovers, whom we faced (and defeated) only last week, in the EFL Cup. Given the quality we witness then, these loans should present excellent opportunities for both youngsters to get some valuable first-team action among the professionals, week in and week out.

Hopefully both will see plenty of minutes this season and return to Chelsea even better than they already are. Good luck, boys!
