The Telegraph's live transfer update thingie put it best, I think: "Strap yourselves in. The David Luiz deal is apparently up and running, according to reports." Buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
BREAKING on @MailSport - David Luiz move 'edging closer' - expect it to happen today. #CFC

The latest updates in this story are big on vagueness and light on details, but something is happening. Something wicked this way comes.
So, about this tweet ... https://t.co/lECgoCazjv

Although we can declare Sky Sports and the Daily Mail the winners in the David Luiz Showdown from yesterday, the lack of detail is still concerning. Law's latest report says that Conte, after being lukewarm initially has "given his blessing" for this move, while also corroborating the earlier report of PSG wanting £38m.
Complicating things further is this rumored loan move for Valencia's Aymen Abdennour.
Conte gives his blessing to Luiz Chelsea return. #CFC also in talks about Abdennour loan. 1 out of 2 should happen https://t.co/aOMSVMGc30

I can confirm that Chelsea's loan move for Aymen Abdennour looks set to be agreed. I don't know much about him as a player #CFC #Chelsea

If we end up signing Abdennour instead of David Luiz, I'm going to be ... well ... not happy. Not happy at all.
Better make it both, Chelsea!
