David Luiz 'edging closer' to Chelsea as Conte gives blessing; move expected to complete today — reports

The Telegraph's live transfer update thingie put it best, I think: "Strap yourselves in. The David Luiz deal is apparently up and running, according to reports."  Buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Although we can declare Sky Sports and the Daily Mail the winners in the David Luiz Showdown from yesterday, the lack of detail is still concerning.  Law's latest report says that Conte, after being lukewarm initially has "given his blessing" for this move, while also corroborating the earlier report of PSG wanting £38m.

Complicating things further is this rumored loan move for Valencia's Aymen Abdennour.

If we end up signing Abdennour instead of David Luiz, I'm going to be ... well ... not happy.  Not happy at all.
