It took the French media a few hours to catch up to the English media with regards to the David Luiz bonanza, but now that they have, they bring bad news.
Breaking | PSG have barred David Luiz from joining Chelsea, despite the player wanting the move, according to @HugoGuillemet. (L'Équipe)

I would've linked that tweet from Hugo Guillemet directly, but it was deleted within ten minutes of posting. What does that mean? Who knows. If we're trying to stay realistic, it probably means nothing significant; this David Luiz return is far too sensational for public consumption.
That said, here are a few reports that could support something outrageous happening in the next 24 hours.
Interesting timing on David Luiz Chelsea return rumours. Possible PSG & player are interested. Not a guaranteed starter under Unai Emery.

David Luiz has been starting alongside youngster Presnel Kimpembe, though that's largely due to both Thiago Silva and Marquinhos being injured to start the season. Of course, PSG wouldn't want to reduce their numbers in defense so close to the end of the transfer window (and end up in a situation just like Chelsea's!), so they, would no doubt want to secure a replacement before they'd even consider selling David Luiz [here's just that story from Goal].
On en saura plus sur @DavidLuiz_4 demain mais l'offre de @ChelseaFC existe. Grosse reflexion du côté parisien.

Now that initial excitement has died down comes the reflection and the reality. But with this much smoke, especially so suddenly, there's bound to be a fire somewhere.
We could try throwing more money at the problem? Couldn't hurt, could it?
