Young Brazilian prospect Robert Kenedy Nunes do Nascimiento (i.e. Kenedy) -- named after Robert F. Kennedy of course -- has now followed fellow standout prospect Bertrand Traore in hitting the loan circuit. These are both somewhat surprising developments, considering that their emergence were two of the very few good things to happen amid last season's terribleness.

At first glance, Kenedy seemed like the perfect option for Antonio Conte, a young, direct, enthusiastic winger, who's unafraid to put himself about and pressure and harass the opposition. But the 20-year-old hardly featured in pre-season and has looked set to leave on loan for a while. By trade he's a winger or a forward, but he can theoretically play as a wing-back as well, which will no doubt be useful in Watford manager Walter Mazzarri's preferred 3-5-2 formation.
We're still waiting for official confirmation, but this move has been rumored for a couple weeks now, so it should just be a formality at this point.
UPDATE: Now it's official.
