Antonio Conte has already ruled on the fate of Juventus-linked Nemanja Matić — report

It's a bit of a throwaway line in many of the reports about the latest step in Juventus-Cuadrado dance, but apparently Antonio Conte has already decided not to sell Nemanja Matić.

...Conte has taken the 27 year old midfielder off the market, Juventus will keep trying but it will be difficult.

In addition to Juventus, interest from former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United had been rumored.  Whether any of these stories had any basis in reality is up for debate of course, but Matić did strike an unhappy figure even among all the unhappy figures at Chelsea last season, as the Blues struggled to retain any of our sense of supremacy from the season before.

Previous reports claimed that Chelsea were perhaps willing to do business around €20m, but that appears to be no longer the case.  Or perhaps we're all just stirring the pot.  There's certainly plenty to stir, with the whole Cuadrado situation still unresolved, the un-killable Oscar rumors always raising their hands in the back of the class (€35m?), plus super spicy speculations with Manchester City's rejected €45m bid for Bonucci, and the occasional Paul Pogba acid trip / wild dream.
