Gabriel Barbosa, i.e. Gabigol, i.e the "next Neymar" (not to be confused with Gabriel Jesus, i.e. Gabriel Jesus, i.e. the "next Neymar")* continues to string along his current club Santos as well as his suitors across the Atlantic — believed to be Chelsea, Barcelona, and Juventus — as he tries to sort out the next step in his career.
What looked like a done deal with Santos a couple weeks ago on a new contract extension has now morphed into €30m bids from Chelsea and perhaps Barcelona as well, and hints from the player that he might have actually played his final match for Santos this past weekend.
"I played as if it was my last game here. Soon you will know something."

He followed that up with an Instagram post that could very well be taken as a farewell message as well, captioning a picture of him kissing a Santos badge with "My heart is Alvinegro and it will always beat for you. Santos are my life. I will love you until death."
Or it could mean that he's finally decided to sign the contract extension.
* Both 19-year-old next-Neymars will be part of Brazil's squad for the Rio Olympics alongside the real Neymar. With three Neymars on the team, they're sure to win it, right?
