Chelsea's latest purchase, N'Golo Kanté, should make a huge impact in the team as we attempt to go back to being perennial title contenders in England, but there are still other positions that need to be reinforced. Having signed a striker and a midfielder, would a defender be next? Or are we willing to let youngsters such as Ola Aina make the step up and potentially flourish in the first team?
Antonio Conte was asked specifically about Napoli center back Kalidou Koulibaly after the match in Vienna, but the Chelsea head coach sidestepped all such inquires by sticking to his policy of not talking about players on other teams.
"I don't like to talk about players [who are] with other teams. I think it is not a great respect for the other team. I don't like other managers talking about my players. I don't like to speak of the players that are now with other clubs."

But Conte did hint that more signings could be incoming, as long as they meet the specific criteria that he's set. And as long as they're actually available.
"We talk every day with the club. It's very important because we know what this team needs. The club and I are on the same [page] and we know to do what to do to improve this club, this team."
"[But] we prefer to wait and to take the right player rather than to take a player only for emotion. It's not right for me. It's important."

We'll see if either Kalidou Koulibaly or Kostas Manolas count as a "right player" as far as center backs are concerned.
