Ladies and gentlemen, it's happening.
What started as a few stray reports in France weeks and months ago, vehemently denied by sources closer to Leicester for almost as long, has now turned into a deluge of echoing confirmations from all sides. N'Golo Kante to Chelsea is happening.

Even the Leicester Mercury, the last bastion of local hopes has joined the party.

RMC and France Football led the way this morning after L'Equipe's report last night got people excited. That proved a bit premature (they were just re-reporting the Le Parisien scoop from earlier this week), but that hardly matters now. It's happening, and it's happening soon.
Looks like N'Golo Kante is, or very soon will be, a Chelsea player. Question numero uno for Antonio Conte in Vienna tomorrow. Ciao for now.✈

Kante's still on post-Euro vacation, but he's expected to undergo a medical very soon and then eventually join up with the Chelsea squad who jetted off to Austria tonight for training camp.
That's their energetic midfielder sorted: N'Golo Kanté to Chelsea for around £29m. #CFC pic.twitter.com/uTAVFsqEXp
