Chelsea confirm first loan move of new season

And the honor of being the first member of this season's Loan Army (not counting players who are in the middle of multi-season loans like Andreas Christensen) goes to ... Nathan!  Come on down, son!  Don't be shy.  Give it up for Nathan!

It may only be the ninth day of June, but Chelsea have already confirmed that the 20-year-old attacking midfielder will rejoin Vitesse for another season.  He spent the last campaign there as well — one of the five-strong Chelsea contingent — after arriving from Atlético-PR last summer for around £4.5m, which was not a big enough transfer fee to qualify him for a work permit (unlike in Kenedy's case).

Nathan didn't quite manage to establish himself at Chelsea B last season, making only four starts and nineteen total appearances.  He did score a couple goals, one of which was quite nice.

Hopefully we'll see more of that this coming season.  Good luck, Nathan!
