After arranging the final terms for Charly Musonda's return to Real Betis, Chelsea might be sending another valuable prospect their way. According to Diario de Sevilla, Chelsea have offered Jeremie Boga to join Musonda on loan at Betis next season as well. Boga is likely one of the 10 names reportedly offered by the Blues in what seems to be the start of another player-development partnership.
The local source reports that Betis want one more option to join wingers Nahuel and Musonda, plus striker Willian José, who is on the verge of joining from Las Palmas. The possibility of adding Boga as that option is supposedly being evaluated by Betis's staff.
Last season, the highly promising Boga joined Ligue 1 team Rennes on loan (which may or may not have included a €40 million option to buy) but not before signing a new contract with Chelsea tying him to the club until 2019. At Rennes, the 19-year-old saw the pitch on 31 occasions, eight of which were as a starter, and scored 3 goals across league and cup competitions.
Being able to play either centrally or on the flanks, Boga would be a good complement to Betis's attack in the forthcoming season. He could also help cement the burgeoning partnership between the two clubs that got off to a good start with Musonda's development last season.
