Paul Pogba's agent: 'Real Madrid are fascinating... as are Chelsea and others'

As one of the world's foremost football agents, with clients such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba, Mino Raiola knows very well how to play the transfer game. While it might be highly irritating to see someone sales-pitching players on a constant basis to so many suitors, it's hard to blame him for doing his job right.

His latest set of quotes on Pogba are a glaring example of that as he claimed that his much sought-after client, now at the Euros representing the French national team, really likes Real Madrid but doesn't discard any other suitors with enough money to purchase and meet his wage demands.

"Will Pogba leave Juventus? Paul has to grow. He's at Juve now, so any transfer must be run past Juventus. I've said that he likes [Real Madrid coach Zinedine] Zidane, Real Madrid are fascinating as are Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, [Manchester] City, Chelsea and also Juve."

"Of course, money matters a lot. But if there are no business plans and there's no investment it won't change anything. Would I listen to offers from Milan and Inter for Pogba? Why not? My interest is to represent my players as well as possible, so I don't rule anything out. I have to do right by my players."

Pogba's transfer fee and the likelihood of his departure from Juventus have only increased in the last few years. While not a perfect player, Pogba will probably leave Juve on a world record fee, and justifiably so.

It's still unlikely that his destiny will be Stamford Bridge though, even if Raiola carries on with sending mixed signals to keep our hopes up. But that's just his job, though.
