Chelsea attacking midfielder Victor Moses had an impressive pre-season with the club, but failed to lock down a place in the first-team and instead moved to West Ham on a loan deal that included an option to make the transfer permanent. Unfortunately for Moses, it seems that the Hammers will not be taking up the option, at least according to a report by Sky Sports.
Moses isn't the only one who will be moving back to his parent club at the end of the season; West Ham have opted against signing up Barcelona's Alex Song and Al Ain's Emmanuel Emenike as well. None of the three have done really all that well this season, either struggling with injury and/or failing to make a good impression on the chances they got.
After spending 2012-13 at Chelsea, Moses has gone on loans to Liverpool (2013-14), Stoke City (2014-15), and now West Ham. At the beginning of this season, Moses extended his deal with Chelsea for four more years. Perhaps he can be of use for Antonio Conte when he takes over in the summer?
