German tabloid Bild ran a big January transfer window preview in its latest issue, and one of the more interesting names among the 50 listed who could be looking for a change of scenery is former Manchester United striker Javier Hernández. His price, a cool €30-40m.
BILD: Leverkusen would consider selling Javier Hernandez if they received offers between €30m-€40m. Chelsea are interested. #B04 #CFC

After years and years of just being a backup, Chicharito scored a career high 26 goals for Bayer Leverkusen last season. This season so far he’s “only” got 7, and perhaps due to that drop-off in goals, he’s popped up in the rumor mill as a potential transfer target for the likes of Chelsea. With just two viable center forwards in the squad, and only one of whom is actually trusted to start, the Blues could very well be looking for additional help in that regard.
Chicharito had been linked with other Premier League clubs in recent weeks as well — Spurs, Liverpool seem to be the two most common options — but considering his penchant for scoring against Chelsea while featuring in the colors of Manchester United, maybe we should sign him just so that he doesn’t do that again.
