Chelsea have officially confirmed the transfer of Oscar to Shanghai SIPG at the start of the January transfer window, and here now come the first couple pictures of Oscar in his new team’s shirt.

It would appear that he’s posing in his home? Or at least some homely-looking place with a nice Christmas tree. Either way, here’s Oscar in red, which is a bit jarring after four and a half years of blue (and yellow and black and white and anything but red). Oscar’s previous team, Internacional also wore red.
At SIPG, Oscar will be playing under former Chelsea and Spurs boss André Villas-Boas, who, as the stories go, really wanted to sign the kid while at Spurs. But Oscar chose Chelsea in 2012, announced himself with that wonderful performance and goal against Juventus and helped the team to European and domestic glories.
And now he gets to be one of the top three-four highest paid players in the world (tough to keep track these days with the CSL money machine swinging into action). Not too shabby.
