DOOOOO EEEEEET

Marco Verratti’s agent looks to be one of the busier people in football over the next few months as the ever-louder rumblings around his client’s future continue to gain momentum in the rumor mill.

Whether all this will end in a new contract or a new team, we shall have to wait and see, but what appears to be certain is that there is concrete interest from at least two teams. Take it away, Mr. Agent.

“There are a lot of teams interested in him, but you’d have to ask PSG. Will he stay in Paris for life? I can assure you no. I can confirm that Verratti has had offers from Italy, but I have no news at the moment.”

Such a tease.

"Marco wants to win, this is the will of the player, the deals will also be evaluated on the basis of this [and] the specific gravity of the club; at the moment it’s only Paris Saint-Germain. [...] Verratti is praised by all the fans, sells many shirts, is a marketing object to PSG. It would still be a very complicated negotiation [but] I can guarantee that PSG will not be his only experience in his career.”

Surely, Marco wants a different experience than Italy again, be that Juventus or the Suning-backed Internazionale, right?. (The same Suning who own Jiangsu Suning of the Chinese Super League.)

“Suning can aspire to any player in the world, not just Marco.”

“I can also confirm that Suning want to revolutionise the transfer market, but so far they haven’t spent well.”

What are Chelsea waiting for? (Valid answers: a) James; b) nothing/patience; c) this is all BS anyway and it’s never going to happen.)
