Nottingham Forest owner denies rumors of selling 19-year-old to Chelsea

Nottingham Forest's 19-year-old midfielder Matty Cash has been recently linked to cash-rich Chelsea in a cash-only deal of either £1.5m (opening bid?) or around £5m (asking price).  But Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi is not looking to cash in on Cash, at least so he claims.

"There are stories coming out saying that we are going to sell Matty Cash - we are not going to sell anyone."

"We are not going to sell anyone with the situation as it is (with regard to the ongoing potential investment deal). It is just speculation. We seem to have reached the point where, when a player plays well or has a good performance, people believe we are going to sell him. But that is not true."

Forest fans however are somewhat skeptical, to put it mildly, of the cashed-man's claims, as apparently he's said similar things in the past before cashing out anyway.  Patrick Bamford comes to mind, for example, but there have been several others since.

Will Chelsea splash the cash on the 19-year-old Englishman?  Or are we just once again the proverbial cash cow of the rumor mill, ready to be milked for yet another nonsense story?
