Chelsea were first linked with Riechedly Bazoer back in February, when reports emerged that he, alongside his agent and brother (the lovingly name Irchandly) visited Chelsea's training ground. The young Ajax midfielder, then called the "next Frank Rijkaard" was valued around €25m.
By the time the summer rolled around Bazoer's price was reduced to £15m and now, if the latest reports are to be believed, they're just £12.5m, and that's despite the weakness of the pound. Joining Chelsea's supposed long-term interest are Arsenal and at just £12.5m, Bazoer would probably be a pretty smart signing for either, even though his career has apparently taken a bit of a downturn over the past few months — after starting the first two games of the season, he's made just three appearances since.
