West Bromwich Albion chasing Chelsea forward

Victor Moses performed very well for Stoke City last season, and followed that up by being one of the few bright spots of Chelsea's summer tour, but the Nigeria international still looks like he'll be deemed surplus to the requirements at Stamford Bridge. The forward has been linked to several Premier League clubs over the past few weeks, and on Sunday, finds himself mentioned as a possible target for West Bromwich Albion.

Moses would be a fine addition to a pretty thin West Brom squad, who need all the help they can get before the transfer window closes. I'd find it hard to believe the Baggies would be at or near the top of Moses' wish list, however, and it's unlikely that the club will be able to compete financially with the other English clubs rumored to have interest.

Having another club with interest in the player should benefit Chelsea, even if it's unlikely that this particular move comes to fruition. I'd be pretty surprised if Moses was still part of the first team setup in a week, so we'll keep a close eye on anything Moses-related for the next several days.
