Our favourite soap opera of a less-than-exciting transfer window continues. Inter Milan general director Marco Fassone was already in the fray, but he's now officially stepped into the spotlight to declare the club's interest in Chelsea's most wanted attacking midfielder: Mohamed Salah. And deny wrongdoing over the whole 'stealing him from Fiorentina' thing.
I talked with the Fiorentina directors, explaining that we're looking at [Salah], but we haven't done anything wrong. We hope things will be resolved as soon as possible.

Salah's agent has claimed that the player would join Chelsea's training camp but unlike Omeruo, Bamford or Kenedy, we don't have any indications that he's actually on English soil yet. So the saga continues. And to be honest, part of me really hopes that Salah sticks around with us until Chelsea's friendly match against Fiorentina that right now has all the ingredients to be the most awkward game ever.
