New signing to join Vitesse on loan - report

19-year-old Nathan joined Chelsea for £4.5 million after a court war with his former club Atlético Paranaense back in Brazil, but he certainly wasn't heading for the first-team squad. Not only was he not a Jose Mourinho purchase, he also is far from qualifying for a work permit, making it impossible for him to play in England.

After taking a picture in Amsterdam and posting it on his Instagram, there were rumours that Nathan's destiny was taking him to Vitesse Vitesse. And now, if reports from the Netherlands are to be believed, the player is indeed heading to Cobham East to spend the upcoming season.

Chelsea wants Brazilian talent Nathan to have an experience with Vitesse this season, which thus gets access to a talent.

It'd be all good for us and Vitesse, but there might be a tiny problem in that Lewis Baker is also playing for Vitesse next season. Both are natural central attacking midfielders, although Nathan seems comfortable playing on the wings as well and Baker can play a bit deeper. But we might end up seeing two Chelsea players competing on loan for a place in Vitesse's starting eleven, which would be a little bit strange.
