And it's done. Radamel Falcao Garcia Zarate will be a Chelsea player for at least season 2015-16. And if by some miracle he scores a shedload of goals, he will be a Chelsea player for even longer.

The deal, as reported by various outlets involves a loan fee of anywhere from £4-10m, plus weekly wages of over £100k per week but less than £200k. Both are likely to be closer to the lower end of the range than the upper end. Chelsea do have a buy-option on the 29-year-old for £35m (i.e. €50m). Most of this arrangement is very similar to the deal that Manchester United got on him last season, though they did have to pay 100% of his reported £265k weekly wages and it looks like we're only on the hook for about 50%.
Falcao becomes yet another player with an Atletico Madrid background to join Chelsea, as he links up with former teammates Thibaut Courtois, Filipe Luis, and Diego Costa. Jose Mourinho also claims to be a big fan. It's now or never for the man who was once the most feared center forward on the planet.
Welcome to Chelsea, El Tigre. Make us proud.
