Chelsea duo praise inbound Falcao

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

Unlike current Chelsea player Juan Cuadrado, putative Blue Radamel Falcao didn't do much of anything during Colombia's feisty 1-0 win against Brazil, but his helpful impression of Emile Heskey failed to dampen the enthusiasm of his probably future teammates. Willian and Filipe Luis were on the other side of the match, and they rather diplomatically praised(ish) the striker post-match:

Falcao is a great player, a striker that knows how to score. I am sure he will help us a lot. I hope he can be happy at Chelsea.

-Willian. Source: Mail.

I played with him (Falcao) at Atletico Madrid. I am not sure it’s official, but I’m sure he would be very welcomed and it would help Chelsea continue winning trophies.

-Filipe Luis.

Luis is perhaps less enthused than Willian, who always seems so optimisitic that his glass ends up overflowing with delicious beer. But even he thinks his former Atlético Madrid teammate could be of some use, and I guess a strike force of Diego Costa, Loïc Rémy and Radamel Falcao -- if that is indeed what we end up with -- wouldn't be the worst thing ever.

Now we just wait for it to become officially official.
