Just as Mourinho's making his latest public plea, Petr Cech's agent is all but putting the final touches on engineering his client's move away from Stamford Bridge and to one of Manchester United, Arsenal, or Paris Saint-Germain.
"Arsenal, United or PSG are all top clubs. And Petr would like to join one of them, definitely. Petr expects that [Chelsea owner Roman] Abramovich, not Mourinho will decide about his future, based on their mutual agreement from last year."

Interesting bit about the involvement of Roman Abramovich, who has taken a bit of a backseat in recent years after often meddling in the club's transfer business -- most famously of course with the whole Andrei Shevchenko episode that was the beginning of the end of Mourinho Mk.I. Though this one certainly doesn't carry that negative connotation, at least not at first glance. It's not unreasonable to imagine that part of the reason we were able to convince Cech to stay last summer is because we promised him that he could go anywhere he wanted to this summer (regardless of what management might prefer).
In case you haven't yet, better start making peace with the fact that Sunday's match will be the last for Cech in a Chelsea shirt.
