Although Arsenal are apparently drooling over the prospect of securing Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer, the Blues are less keen to let the veteran shot-stopper -- despite his relegation to backup status under Thibaut Courtois -- head over to the Emirates. Upgrading the Gunners' squad on the cheap is nobody's idea of a good time, and if Jose Mourinho had his way Cech would be heading to somewhere which is unlikely to meaningfully challenge us for trophies [insert Arsene Wenger joke here]. Mars, perhaps. China. Or maybe ... Turkey.
We have been in contact with Besiktas, we are in talks. Turkey is a choice for Cech but we will decide when the league is over.

Obviously that's a far cry from Cech actually finding his way to Istanbul next season, but at least there's real interest from overseas, which is where we'd all like him to end up. Nevermind the selling to a competitor thing -- really, the weird part would be seeing him in another team's goal all the time.
