Mourinho guarantees new contract for John Terry

Ok, so I don't think that anyone was doubting that John Terry was going to stick around for yet another season as Chelsea captain, but the manager has gone from asserting that the skipper will be getting a new contract to guaranteeing it:

Mourinho says he knows this because both the Chelsea board and Terry himself are in agreement, confirming to the assembled press earlier today that the best way too look at the impending deal is that terms are agreed but not yet signed. (Did Eden Hazard walk off with the special contract-signing pen that Mourinho procured for him after a hard-target search of all local office supply stores?)

So when should we expect an announcement? Before the end of the season, certainly, and if the two sides are as close as the manager is saying perhaps well before the end of the season.
