Papy Djilobodji has barely seen the pitch at Chelsea, and according to reports from Turkey, could already be on his way out of Stamford Bridge. Former Besiktas Sporting Director Sinan Engin has claimed that a deal for the Blues' defender is already in place, while making an appearance on Turkish television.
This is probably a good time to point out that reports in Turkey are often garbage, though this particular one seems to be the type with enough substance to at least take note of. It's still very, very possible that Engin is exaggerating just how advanced talks are at this point, though at the very least, we can be pretty sure that Besiktas are very interested in the tall center back.
The report suggests that the agreement would be for 1.5 seasons, which should be a pretty clear indicator that we're talking about a loan, as opposed to a permanent transfer. Djilobodji signed a four-year contract with Chelsea on deadline day.
