Nathaniel Chalobah's loan at Burnley didn't go nearly as well as anyone hoped, but despite that, there's already talk of where the 20-year old will end up next. On Tuesday, we can add French club Bordeaux to the mix of potential suitors, as ESPN are reporting that they'd love to add the defender/midfielder as they look to make a push for European football.
Keeping Chalobah at Chelsea would seem to be a bit of a foolish move for the Blues, as the youngster is unlikely to get any substantial minutes ahead of players like Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic, John Obi Mikel, and Ramires. ESPN are also reporting interest from other Premier League clubs, though I'd imagine any loan will require Jose Mourinho's side to help pay the player's wages after his ineffective spell with the Clarets.
If Chalobah is, indeed, loaned to a top flight side in either France or England, that deal would need to be wrapped up before the close of the January window. Should that deadline pass without a move, Chelsea would still have the option to send Nathaniel to a Championship side once the emergency loan window opens a week later.
