Chelsea set to meet Juan Cuadrado release clause, according to reports

The latest reports from Italy are suggesting that Chelsea will get their man in Juan Cuadrado, and that they're resigned to meeting the player's release clause if need be to do so. Here's what DiMarzio had to say on the matter:

Chelsea are closing in on Juan Cuadrado of Fiorentina . It has over the last few hours Emerged That the Blues have every intention of meeting the 35 M € contract release clause and get hold of the Colombian winger as soon as possible, under specific instructions of manager Jose Mourinho.

David Amoyal and DiMarzio seem to have a pretty decent feel for the comings and goings in Serie A, so it will be interesting to see if they are correct yet again. David also tweeted out some interesting information earlier today which ran contrary to reports we'd been hearing elsewhere:

DiMarzio is also reporting that a Mohamed Salah loan could be an option for Fiorentina as they look to replace the Colombian in the lineup. The last few days of the transfer window could get awfully interesting...
