Acorrding to reports in the Czech Republic, defender Tomas Kalas will be spending next season on loan. Karel Haring is reporting that the defender is likely to join a German outfit next season, but that a move to a Premier League club is also a possibility.

The Czech defender did enough to impress this season that he managed to stay with Jose Mourinho and the Blues, but the relative health of the squad along with the wonderful seasons from Gary Cahill and John Terry meant very few minutes for the youngster. He looked extremely impressive in his two starts with the Blues, but with John Terry agreeing to a one-year contract extension for the 2014/15 season, and Kurt Zouma arriving this summer, a loan makes an awful lot of sense.
Finding a club to take on Kalas won't be much of a challenge, as he should be good enough to walk into the starting eleven for all but a handful of Bundesliga sides. He'd also be an upgrade for a fair number of clubs playing in England, should Chelsea choose to go that route.
