Cech's agent suggests the keeper would have interest in Arsenal, Liverpool

Another day, another story about Petr Cec's eventual departure from Chelsea. Today, the Czech media has some quotes from the legend's agent though, reaffirming that the keeper isn't likely to leave the club during the January transfer window:

‘It’s unlikely Petr will leave Chelsea in the January transfer window. The club and coach want to keep him to help win the title.'

He goes on to suggest that both Liverpool and Arsenal probably should have some interest, which if Cech becomes available, should be obvious:

‘I think Arsenal should have made an offer to him. I think Petr would be considering it. Liverpool need to strengthen their position in goal and they know Petr will be available in the summer. We’ve been in contact with Real Madrid but they don’t need a keeper just now. But we will discuss it again in March.’

Chelsea would probably prefer to see Cech depart overseas, but have shown in the recent past that they're not against letting players join domestic 'rivals' if the price is right. It would hurt to see Cech between the sticks for one of those clubs, but if it's what the player wants and the club are adequately compensated, it's hard to wish anything but the best to Petr after so many years of excellent service.

That said, it would be nice for Chelsea fans to see Cech move to title-challenging side overseas, rather than watching the crowd favorite attempt to help a domestic rival close the talent gap with the Blues.
