The Blues are in Germany ahead of a crucial Champions League tie that could decide the group, so naturally Jose Mourinho is being asked about transfer rumors by the German media. Specifically, he was asked about Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus, who will likely be moving on this summer:
When asked by local media, Jose says Chelsea are not interested in signing Borussia Dortmund player Marco Reus. #CFC

For those of you really hoping to see Chelsea involved in the chase, this is unfortunate news. It's also something we should put little to no stock in whatsoever, as it would be pretty foolish to expect Mourinho to say anything else at this stage of the season.
Reus was never going to be a January target, especially given that he's now injured. If Chelsea eventually do show interest in the player, it will be after the 2014/15 season is over, and the player's ridiculously low buyout becomes active. Until that point, I wouldn't expect anything other than the answer Mourinho gave the German media today, as dropping hints of interest at this point does no good.
