Romelu Lukaku has been the subject of loads of speculation over the past several hours, and now the situation is beginning to become a bit more clear. Several reliable reporters are now reporting the same thing, that Romelu Lukaku is going to be loaned to Everton this season.
Confirmation: Romelu #Lukaku is on his way to Everton although West Brom was also in business. #EFC #WBA

Not getting good vibes about Lukaku. Hope I'm wrong for the sake of my #wba followers, but seemingly Everton bound

I'd vastlky prefer to see Lukaku remain at Chelsea than head to Everton on loan, but Dan Levene has some perspective to add to the situation:
Young players with potential need to play. Agree or not, Lukaku clearly below Torres & Eto'o in pecking order. He'll get more games on-loan.

As usual, Levene is speaking sense. I still don't like the move, as it would mean I'm forced to watch Fernando Torres instead of Romelu Lukaku. He's probably correct that Torres is currently ahead of Lukaku in the pecking order though, as the opening games this season should have shown us.
If Lukaku does have to go on loan, I suppose Everton isn't such a bad place to end up. They have a good manager that I genuinely like, and Liverpool fans absolutely hate them. I've still got my fingers crossed that all these reports have mixed up the names of Lukaku and Torres, but at least we have Samuel Eto'o now so our #9 is actually #2.
