The Daily Mail is reporting that Crystal Palace are interested in adding Nathaniel Chalobah on a season long loan. After Chalobah signed his new 5-year contract over the weekend, where he'd spend the season playing seemed like the next major question to ask about the player.
Crystal Palace seem like an ideal destination for the youngster as far as I'm concerned. They're playing at a higher level than Chalobah played at last year, and he'd almost certainly walk directly into their starting lineup. Palace have a serious lack of talent and depth, and Chalobah would help them in both regards immediately.
There are also rumors swirling that Gianfranco Zola and Watford would be interested in bringing the midfielder back if a deal with a top-division side can't be worked out. That seems like a fine backup plan, as going to a club where he'd certainly play regularly should be a priority over ending up with the Premier League.
