It looks as if a home for Victor Moses has been found, with The Guardian reporting that Liverpool and Chelsea have agreed to a season long loan:
Liverpool are to take Victor Moses on loan from Chelsea after the clubs finally agreed a £1m fee for the season-long switch by the Nigeria winger.
There is no option for Liverpool to make the deal permanent next summer, an indication that Moses could yet have a long-term future at Stamford Bridge.
If true, I think most of us will be more than a bit disappointed. While Moses will likely flourish in Brendan Rodgers system, there's still enough of an unpleasant history between the clubs that most fans won't want to see us helping them.
As much as it will hurt Chelsea fans to see Moses helping a "rival", there are a few positives to take away from this. Moses can't help Liverpool against us, but he certainly makes them more likely to take points off the other title contenders. He'll also get the chance to earn plenty of minutes at a top side, and even if he doesn't earn a place back in the Chelsea squad, one would have to think that would help his value on the market.
The unfortunate cost of this is that we'll always remember Victor Moses wearing a Liverpool kit at some point in his career. That's also an unfortunate thing for Moses himself to have to remember, as this season's offerings from Warrior are absolutely dreadful.
