Loan news has been coming fast and furious over the past two weeks, and today we've got confirmation from another Chelsea youngster that he'll be spending the season away from Stamford Bridge. Matej Delac had the following to say via his twitter account:
I'm going on loan again...

I am happy, important for me is to play. I hope finnaly I will be number one in my next club

I'm not sure at this point if he actually knows where he'll be heading, or just that the club wants him to continue life away from London in order to allow him to develop. Either way though, it appears that Delac will not be an option for the Blues as they attempt to fins a backup keeper.
This news almost certainly means that the Blues will be buying a goalkeeper to deputize Petr Cech, as the only semi-viable in house options remaining are Jamal Blackman and Sam Walker. Walker appears set to be heading back to Colchester United for another spell on loan, and I don't think too many fans would be overly comfortable with Blackman as the primary deputy to Cech.
I don't think I'm alone in wishing Delac all the best on loan, as he appears to be a decent enough young keeper when he actually gets some time on the pitch. Hopefully this season sees him get lots of that, so we can finally see what we have in the young Croatian.
