Whet your appetite with two minutes of Marco van Ginkel

If you haven't been watching the Eredevisie -- specifically Vitesse Arnhem -- you've been missing out on Chelsea loanees like Patrick van Aanholt and Tomas Kalas. You also probably haven't seen much of the man who's about to be the Blues' newest signing: Marco van Ginkel. Now that a deal with Vitesse has been announced, it's time to get to know him a little better. Hence the video above. Click on it.

Profile: Getting to know Marco van Ginkel

Yes, it's just two minutes long, but as a very wise man once sang, two minutes in heaven is better than one minute in heaven. What sticks out to me is the versatility that the 20-year-old displays. You can make pretty much any footballer look good in highlight videos, but for the limited players, it'll just be them doing the same thing over and over again. In van Ginkel's case, we have a player finishing, dribbling, passing, heading and tackling in the span of 120 seconds. That's a pretty exciting talent, even if I'm not entirely sure how he fits into the first team.

Fortunately, that's Jose Mourinho's problem, not mine, and he's pretty good at running football teams. Or so I'm told.
