Jeffrey Bruma's deal with PSV Eindhoven seems to have hit a snag, according to reports out of the Dutch media this morning. What exactly the hold up in this situation entails is not being disclosed to the public, but my (very) limited understanding of Dutch* leads me to the conclusion that some sort of issue with Bruma's medical is causing the holdup with the deal being completed.
*By limited, I mean I know a handful of basic words and trust entirely to google translate for more than a simple 'hello'. Here's what google translate gave me this morning:
PSV would provide additional medical examination at the Orange International, before he can participate in the practice sessions. Really only What exactly is examined, the club is not known. The Eindhoven Dagblad writes that PSV nothing to say about the importance of the player, it comes to medical confidentiality.
I think it goes without saying at this point that completing the deal is about the least of our concerns here, and that Chelsea fans are hoping this issue turns out to be nothing serious. That said, hopefully this condition doesn't stand in the way of this deal, as it seems to be a logical destination for Bruma at this point in his development.
