Chelsea and Jeffrey Bruma appear set to part ways, at least for the time being. The Dutch media this morning is reporting that the basics of an agreement have been reached, and that a move is expected to be finalized before the start of training next Monday:
The central defender, Chelsea and PSV have reached an agreement in principle on his transition. Technical manager Marcel Brands want to give any details about the transfer of Bruma. Brands guard at each transfer first down to the last details are handled, before about enhanced information. Bruma is reportedly for about 3 million to PSV, or Chelsea can buy him back is not yet clear.
It seems inevitable at this point that Bruma will be playing in the Eredivisie next season, and I really hope that helps him get regular time on the pitch. I'd be happier with any deal that included some sort of buyback option for the Blues, as I still have high hopes that he'll turn into the type of player most of us hoped he would eventually become. Regardless of whether or not a buyback is included though, I'm sure all of us wish him the best of luck with the rest of his career.
