Tired of the Andre Schurrle transfer saga yet? No? Well it's a good morning to be you then, as we have yet more comments on the ongoing negotiations to bring the German to Stamford Bridge. Today's installment is from Leverkusen general manager Rudi Voller, who annoys me to no end:
"We will not react to something like that [reports that the deal is off]. We are still working on the transfer. The last signatures are missing."
Here's a thought Rudi. Stop answering questions about the damn transfer, and go track down the missing signatures that are holding up the damn transfer. In all seriousness, dealing with Bayer Leverkusen seems to be about as fun as holding talks with Porto, and I'd be perfectly happy to never do either again. I like Schurrle as a player, I really dislike the way his club does business.
At some point (like with Hulk and Porto), you'd have to assume Michael Emenalo and Chelsea will just walk away from this deal if it's not getting done. Stop talking to the press Rudi, and get this damn thing done so that we never have to pay attention to you again. Or just go away. At this point, I just don't care.
