We're now into transfer rumor crazytime, and Chelsea have a number of youngsters that clubs around Europe will be interested in picking up on loan for next season. One of the more promising is Thorgan Hazard, Eden's little brother, who's just finished up a strong season with Zulte Weregem in the Jupiler League. Where does it sound like he's headed? We turn to John Chapman to find out:
Two rumours circulating in Belgium are Thorgan Hazard to Anderlecht and Junior Malanda to Club Brugge. First one more likely I feel.

Hazard to Anderlecht makes some sense, especially since they've qualified for the Champions League group stages outright (at the expense of Zulte, who'll have to make do with the qualifying stages), but with Hazard playing superbly for much of the season, I'm just not sure that staying in the Belgian Leagues, even with a team of Anderlecht's stature, is enough of a step up. It'd all depend on how valuable we think six Champions League games would be -- would we rather Hazard the younger get top-level European experience for a few games or play at a generally higher level in France or the Eredivisie? I'm not sure.
