Fact: Chelsea fans don't like Rafa Benitez.
Fact: Rafa Benitez hasn't been getting very good results at Chelsea.
Fact: Chelsea fans love Guus Hiddink.
Fact: Guus Hiddink did an absolutely fantastic job in his brief time as the manager at Chelsea.
With these facts in mind, it would seem like a very popular move for the Chelsea board to make if they allowed Rafa Benitez to leave the club in the summer and replaced him with someone that Chelsea fans absolutely adore. This afternoon, I'm starting to see chatter that this might be an option:
Guus Hiddink looks set to leave Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer to take over as Chelsea head coach.

The SFUnion has a fairly decent reputation, although they aren't citing a specific source. They are reputable enough that this should bear watching though, especially as we know that Hiddink and Roman Abramovich are still close. The reporting outlet combined with the general believably of this rumor should make it worth paying attention to, even if we aren't anywhere near ready to start calling this a "fact".
I'd be absolutely thrilled if this rumor were true, as Guus would be as close to the anti-Rafa as Chelsea could get. He'd be welcomed back to Stamford Bridge with open arms by the fans, and he'd certainly do wonders in removing the circus like atmosphere from Chelsea's every move. If you are reading this Roman, this would get my stamp of approval.
