In less than two years Chelsea have built a squad that will require little adjustment for the next several years if they fulfill their promise. But just in case one of these pieces fall, market replacements won't be out of the table.
Neither Napoli nor Kvaratskhelia are doing as well as they were last season when the Italian side lifted the Serie A for the first time in more than 30 years. However the Georgian international is still 22 years old and thus a few seasons away from his career’s peak.
Moving for Kvaratskhelia won't be an easy endeavour, which shouldn't be a surprise since we're talking about dealing with Aurelio De Laurentiis here. The attacker has a contract until 2027 and is nearing an extension. Plus Napoli already value him at €100m.
It also doesn't make sense that Chelsea, having spent so much in so few transfer windows, would invest that much money on another winger when fellow Napoli player Victor Osimhen, who's a presumed primary target for us, will cost at least 1.5x more than that. Stranger things have happened but this is just too strange to believe... Right?
