How should Chelsea line up against Manchester City to beat Guardiola again?

Chelsea vs. Manchester City, Premier League: You choose the starting lineup

It’s time to shift focus quickly again, as we move from a League Cup third round distraction to a massive Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge. Manchester City are in town for a noon kickoff on Saturday: the current league leaders taking on the defending champions.

Unlike Chelsea, City have not been unbeatable this season (especially away from home) and Tuchel’s Chelsea are riding a rather impressive three-match winning streak against them, including of course the Champions League final back in May.

Previous results won’t help us win this time around, at least not directly, but what might help is Édouard Mendy coming back from his bruised rib — though Kepa has played quite well in his absence over the last two games. Christian Pulisic is expected to miss out once again, but everyone else should be available, and given our full-rotation for the League Cup match, should be ready and rested.

Choose wisely!
