An unfortunate slip from a goal kick almost undone all the good work Mendy had been putting on to keep Chelsea in the lead against Villarreal in the UEFA Super Cup today. But despite the blunder that led to a great Gerard Moreno chance, Mendy still had the skill and the length to touch the ball on the way to the goal and divert it towards the post.
