WATCH: Edouard Mendy one-hand defence against Sergio Agüero’s Panenka attempt

Pulling off a Panenka spot kick is one of the most disrespectful moves in the sport. Veteran striker Sergio Agüero, who is set to leave Manchester City this summer and has been linked to Chelsea, tried to do so at the end of the first half encounter between Chelsea and his current club only a few minutes after the hosts found the opener via Raheem Sterling, in a rather soft penalty awarded to them after a Billy Gilmour foul.

His insolence was duly punished by Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy who was quick to notice what Agüero was trying to do. As he took the slow and soft shot at our goal, Mendy got up from his initial jump and defended it with one hand only.
