1. BEN CHILWELL (7.0)
Chilwell started his first season at Chelsea like gangbusters, with Frank Lampard’s system fitting him like a glove from minute one, and he’s ending his first season at Chelsea in almost as good of a fashion, having grown into the wing-back role in Tuchel’s 3-4-3. With a bit of luck and bit of finishing quality, he could have had a handful of goals just in the last few games alone. Chilwell recently talked about learning from Marcos Alonso, and we’re certainly seeing some of those traits in action on the pitch now as well.
As it stands, Chilly B finishes with “just” 3 goals and 5 assists to his name in the league (4+7 in all competitions), and that’s certainly not bad, especially as he’s also not entirely lost on defense unlike the other options we have for the position.
⭐ Ben Chilwell has 8 PL goal involvements this season (3 goals, 5 assists) – the only defender with more is Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold with 9 #AVLCHE

2. THIAGO SILVA (6.2)
This wasn’t Chelsea’s finest day at either end of the pitch, especially as the final product was concerned, but Silva put in yet another imperious shift at the back, even as he was isolated a few too many times 1-v-1 for one who should be primary a covering defender.
3. ANTONIO RÜDIGER (6.1)
Similarly, not necessarily Rüdiger’s finest hour, but these days, even his average performances are very good.
