90min: 3 minutes added on as Mendy claims a Tecatito cross.
85min: GOALLLLLLLLL!!!!! CHILWELLLLLLL!!!! Chilwell goes on a run, Kovacic tries to find him, Porto defender looks to have it covered, but his touch is loose and Chilwell’s on it in a flash and in all alone. Chilwell stays calm, rounds the goalkeeper, and slots into the back of the net. 2-0, CHELSEA!!!
84min: Pulisic goes on a run down the right channel, smack a shot towards and hits the crossbar! It bounces down and out. Unlucky!

59min: Werner loses the ball just as Chilwell makes a run beyond him. Not been a great day for any attacking player other than Mount.
56min: Porto come again, Luis Diaz goes for goal from 20. Just wide. Mendy probably had it covered?
55min: James 1-v-1 against Tecatito, James wins the duel and tackles for a corner. Inswinger’s won by Pepe ahead of a flailing Mendy, but Chilwell hooks off the line. Mbemba called offside anyway from Pepe’s header.

53min: Azpi with some good covering on Luis Diaz, who hits the deck in hopes of a call. Referee unmoved and Chelsea have a goal kick.
51min: Fantastic ball down the right channel finds Marega. He loses Rudiger but Mendy’s out to cut down the angle and make the save. Porto’s corner finds Zaidu in acres of space near the top of the box, but he miskicks and the opportunity is gone, for now.
50min: Tecatito bamboozles a couple on the right, then nutmegs Chilwell, but he doesn’t get the foul call from the referee and Chelsea can clear.
49min: Jorginho looks for Havertz or Werner with a long ball over the top, but it’s hit too hard and the goalkeeper can easily collect.
47min: Kovacic with a good burst throug the middle, plays wide to Mount. He chips into the center, with both Havertz and Werner making a run. Werner rises high to get his head to the ball, but he can’t quite get over the ball and heads over the bar with the top of his head.
SECOND HALF: No changes for either side as Porto restart proceedings.
HALF-TIME: No stoppage time in this free-flowing first half. Chelsea lead, 1-0!
45min: Azpi heads clear a cross and James covers well on the flank to win the ball from Zaidu. But Porto pressing hard for an equalizer. Uribe gets past Jorginho, but sees his shot blocked for a corner. The corner finds Grujic free in the box, but his header is weak and Mendy can collect.
43min: Porto’s corner finds Pepe. His header is on target and Mendy elects to punch clear for another corner. This one’s flicked up by Otavio at the near post and Mendy can catch easily.
42min: Havertz, tracking back, with a foul on Otavio, central. Porto chip into the are from deep, Havertz heads clear but only as far as Tecatito on the edge of the area. Good shot from the Porto man on the half-turn, blocked by Azpi for a corner.
40min: Porto attack as a foul on Chilwell goes uncalled. Mount and James mop up on the far side after Otavio shakes Rudiger to find a cross.
38min: Zaidu tries to make more of a Mount high boot than there was in it, but fortunately the referee is not swayed. Zaidu then called offside as Mbemba looks long from central defense.

35min: Porto with a long ball, look briefly dangerous, but the flag is up.
32min: GOALLLLL!!!! MASON MOUNT!!! Chelsea make the pressure count as Jorginho plays a ball into Mount, who turns magnificently and finishes expertly into the far corner, low past the goalkeeper’s leg. What a glorious play by Mount! Away goal as well. 1-0, CHELSEA!
31min: Chelsea finally with a bit of play in Porto’s half of the pitch. James crosses but Pepe’s there to hack clear.
29min: Porto take the corner short, Mount’s there to win the ball back however and then win a foul off Tecatito as well.

27min: Werner almost in behind the line, but Mbemba covers well and Timo’s offside anyway.
25min: Chelsea’s turn to win a corner, which James takes, outswinging. Porto head clear then beat Jorginho to the ball and can counter. Fortunately, a loose touch allows Kovacic to intercept and clear.
23min: Porto take the corner short and work it into the area along the byline. Azpilicueta blocks Pepe’s shot for another corner. Otavio takes this long and almost catches Mendy out with a direct shot on goal. Mendy palms it away, but Porto keep it in with a good header by Pepe on the touchline, back into the fray. Fortunately, the first-time volley in the middle of the box is hammered over the bar by Zaidu.
22min: Jorginho with the foul on Luis Diaz, wide left. Good crossing position, Otavio takes, Rudiger heads clear for a corner. In that comes, from the other side, Chelsea manage to scramble it away for a throw at the second time of asking. Porto win another corner from the throw.

The through ball is cut out, but the referee pulls play back for a foul on Mount, much to Porto’s dismay. Chelsea unable to make the free kick count and give the ball away in the final third.
16min: Chilwell with a good throw-in on the left sends Mount scampering down the line. He checks back and floats a cross towards the far post where Reece James is arriving, but the goalkeeper’s out well to claim ahead of him.
14min: It’s all Porto at the moment as they pass around the Chelsea midfield. A chip towards Zaidu making the run in the left channel looks dangerous, but the Porto left back misses his kick and Chelsea have a goal kick.
12min: Marega cuts a ball back from the byline finding Luis Diaz, but Christensen makes a strong block on the shot. Porto get it back, cross from the right. The ball is laid back to Uribe at the top of the box, he takes a touch and volleys it towards the top corner, not missing by much at all, with Mendy only able to watch and hope.
11min: Porto flick on a long-ball and find Tecatito behind the line. Azpilicueta closes down quickly and delays the quick cross. Tecatito eventually finds the cross, but Mendy claims well in the air.
9min: A bit of slick passing in midfield gets Chelsea beyond the press, but James unable to get a ball through to Mount.
8min: Porto free kick after Kovacic and Rudiger sandwich Tecatito on the right wing. Porto waste the free kick by playing it square and back. Chelsea win the ball in midfield and Jorginho tries to release Werner, but Porto cover the through ball.
7min: Havertz takes the corner short, but the pass back to him is not great and the routine breaks down. Chelsea eventually hoist the ball into the penalty area, but the goalkeeper easily grabs it.
6min: Chelsea with the majority of the possession. Werner and Havertz press high on the left to win the ball back, but Chelsea unable to enter the penalty area with any threat. Mount does win a corner.
3min: Chelsea try to send Werner down the left, but Porto cover well. Chelsea press and win a throw, from which Havertz is able to cross in, but there’s no one in the middle or at the far post to take advantage.
2min: Chelsea keeping possession at the back in the opening minutes. Then lose it in midfield as the two teams begin to feel each other out.
KICK-OFF: The players are out, and here comes the anthem. Chelsea in the third pinks, the Crystal Palace kit, Porto in their home blue-and-white stripes. Captains Dave and Pepe exchange greetings in the center circle, and Chelsea get us underway.
No unbeaten streaks on the line today; it’s all about the next 90 minutes. Our first Champions League quarterfinals since 2013-14, and a good chance to advance. If Saturday showed us anything however, it’s that you never know what can happen in a game.
Tuchel, as expected, has rotated back to most of the players who were key to the team’s results prior to the international break — except for N’Golo Kanté, who’s only fit to make the bench.
